Why parents keep calling the office
Schools already have the information parents want. What is missing is one place online where parents, learners and teachers can find it, act on it and pay.
- A website nobody updates. The school website was built once and still shows last year's fees, events and admissions dates.
- Admissions on paper. Parents queue to buy forms, bring documents in person and phone the office to ask if they were admitted.
- Parents in the dark. Fees balances, results, notices and homework reach parents late, through learners' bags or word of mouth.
- Fees paid, then chased. Mobile Money payments arrive without an admission number, and the bursar spends days matching them to learners.
One portal, from the first visit to the last term
Discover, apply, admit, join, learn, pay and stay informed in one place:
- A website you run yourselves. Pages, news and events updated without calling a developer.
- Fees matched automatically. Payments made in the portal post to the right learner.
- Fewer calls to the office. Parents see balances, results and notices themselves.
Sixteen modules, one database
School website, pages and content editor, news, events and galleries, online admissions, interviews and offers, parent portal, learner portal, teacher portal, lessons and resources, assignments and marking, timetables and calendar, online fee payments, results and report cards, messages and notices, SMS and email alerts, users, roles and audit. Modules are switched on per tier.
Safe for families, simple for staff
- Each user sees their own. Parents see only their children, learners their own work, teachers their own classes.
- Secure sign-in. Encrypted connections, strong passwords and one-time codes by SMS for parents.
- Licensed payment partners. Mobile Money and card payments are processed by licensed providers; card details are never stored by the portal.
- Every change logged. Fees, offers, marks and page changes are recorded with who and when.
- Daily backups, with restores tested, not assumed.
- Learner data protected. Access to learners' records is limited by role and handled under Uganda's data protection law.
Online payments need the school's own collection account with a Mobile Money or card provider, so fees go straight to the school. Provider fees, the school's domain name and consent for learner photos on the website are arranged with the school.
Setup
Every tier includes the website, installation, configuration, data import and training. From signing to launch day: the website pages, admissions form, portal features and fee rules agreed and the website designed in your colours, content loaded and learners, parents, teachers and fee balances imported and checked, the payment provider connected and tested and staff trained, then launch, with parents receiving their log-ins by SMS and TIAMTECH supporting the first weeks. Timelines run from signing and approval of the school's payment collection account. Best launched at the start of a term.
